We are very pleased to have our own laboratory on site. It gives us the ability to keep our fixed crown and bridge work in the office without having to ship to an outside laboratory. This also facilitates a close working relationship between Dr. Derek Hopkins and our ceramist, Hirofumi Yokota, to provide quality restorations with excellent esthetic results.

Every patient who requires fixed crown or bridge restorations sees Hirofumi for a custom shade appointment. At which time photos are taken and patient’s expectations are discussed. This appointment gives Hirofumi the additional information that he requires to create natural looking restorations.

The Japanese Quintessence of Dental Technology (QDT) is one of the most highly regarded international dental technology journals. Hirofumi and Dr. Hopkins have recently been published in this journal for the planning, quality and artistic content of treatment for a patient.
